Terms of service

These terms apply when you visit or buy from Pawtrait Apparel (“Pawtrait”, “we”, “us”). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Custom orders

Pawtrait creates custom dog portrait apparel. After checkout, you send us your dog’s photo, your dog’s name, and an optional caption. We create a design in the style you chose and email you a preview within 1-2 business days of receiving your details.

2. One dog per design

Each design features one dog. For more than one dog, please place a separate order for each design.

3. Photos and your rights

By sending us a photo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights. You allow us to use your photo and your dog’s name to create and produce your order.

4. Design approval and revisions

Your order includes 2 free revisions. Nothing is printed until you approve your design. Once you approve, your order goes into production and changes are no longer possible. Please review your preview carefully.

5. Design ownership and promotion

Pawtrait retains the rights to its illustration styles and artwork.

By placing an order, you give Pawtrait permission to display your finished design, the finished product, and your dog’s photo and name on our website, social media, and marketing materials, including paid advertising. We won’t share your personal information (such as your name or address) alongside them.

If you’d prefer that we don’t use your design or your dog’s photo, email hello@pawtraitapparel.store at any time, and we’ll stop using them in new content. We may not be able to remove content that has already been published or shared by others.

6. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown at checkout, and payment is processed at checkout through our payment provider. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if there is a pricing or availability error.

7. Shipping and delivery

See our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and aren’t guaranteed.

8. Returns and refunds

See our Return & Refund Policy. Because items are personalized and made on demand, returns aren’t accepted for change of mind, size, or fit.

9. Product colors and print variations

Colors may look slightly different from the website because of screen settings, lighting, and garment color. Slight variations between the preview and the printed item, including minor print placement differences, can occur.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pawtrait isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using our website or products. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our website when you place an order applies to that order.
